Champion officially
After a AIFF executive committee meeting on April 21 it is declared that now Mohun Bagan is officially the champion now. Few hours later club issued a press release in which they thanked everyone associated with the success and also took a hand at arch rival East Bengal. All nine others team accepted Mohun Bagan as champion except East Bengal. They are showing fictional stories not to declare Mohun Bagan as champion. Mohun Bagan will receive one crore as prize money. And others ten teams will receive remaining prize money is divided into equal parts which is about twelve lakh. There will be no individual prize for players this season.
